               For franchised businesses, a copy of franchise contract and all
               supporting documents provided by the franchisor
               Copy of proposed lease or purchase agreement for building space

               Copy of resumes of all principals
               Copies of letters of intent from suppliers, etc.

An important step in starting your own business is to develop a business plan. This sample outline highlights the key elements often included in a business plan. Keep in mind that some of these may not be necessary depending on the nature of your business.
